While working for a large law firm in Townsville, Alan also acted both for and against the Australian Taxation Office in many matters, including bankruptcy and winding up applications, payment arrangements and offers of settlement.
Alan has attended the Australian Taxation Office as an expert panel member for ATO internal training seminars and lectures in Taxation Law for business and law students at James Cook University at the Cairns, Far North Queensland campus.
